2015-2016 Scheduling Input from Parents Needed

The Statesboro High School Administrative Staff and Leadership Team are contemplating a schedule change effective for the 2015-2016 school year.  The proposed plan is as follows:

1516 schedule.JPG

There are several reasons behind the possibility of this change.  The major factors include:

  • Cutting testing dates in half (only testing at the beginning of the year and end of the year since classes are year long.)
  • Class size relief to some classes.
  • Some classes are better suited to be taught year long, creating the ability for information to be taught in smaller increments.

Each of these factors can be accomplished with this schedule without lengthening the school day, therefore eliminating possible bus/transportation issues.

WE WELCOME YOUR INPUT!  Please consider clicking the link below to provide your questions, concerns, or suggestions.  If you have a question that you would like answered, please include your e-mail address so we know how to contact you.

Thank you for your time and patience.

Bulloch County's School Climate

Bulloch County Schools encourages all parents with children, who attend one of the district’s 15 public schools, to complete an online survey from the Georgia Department of Education, the Georgia Parent Survey, regarding the climate and safety of their child’s school(s). Access the survey from any desktop or mobile device with Internet access. If a parent does not have access to the Internet, he/she may contact one of our schools and make an appointment to complete the survey there.  Thank you for helping Bulloch County Schools!
