Technology Fair 2015

Students interested in competing in the Bulloch County Technology Fair must first register and have their project approved by the SHS Media Specialists (Amy Altman and/or Shannon Anderson). Please register using the link below. School level approval will need to take place PRIOR to October 30, 2015. Once you have completed the registration form and your project is in its completed format, you may submit your project for approval at any time. Students will be notified on November 2 if their project is approved for the county competition. Please see Mrs. Altman or Mrs. Anderson if you have questions.

TESTING Registration


Compass test will be given the week of October 26, 2015 at Statesboro High School. The COMPASS test is used for admission to OTC and EG Move on When Ready programs.   If you would like to take the test please complete the form below.  See your counselor if you have any questions.

The ASVAB will be administered in the media center on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 8:00 a.m.  Please click on the link below to register for this exam.  Only the first 50 students will be accepted, so do not wait!  E-mail tweathers@bullochschools.org for more information.

Driver's Education Classes Hosted by OTC

OTC will be hosting free Driver's Education Series at SHS.  Classes will be held in Room B137 on the following dates:

  • September 14-October 1:  Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • November 2-November 19:  Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

To be eligible for the free training, you must:

  • be between the ages of 15 and 17
  • be a Georgia resident
  • have a valid Georgia's Learner's Permit by the first day of class,
  • and more.
