McGibony & Associates Scholarship

1.  Each scholarship award is $1000. Only students who plan to attend an accredited university and submit the requested information are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship will be paid directly to the student.

2. The applicant must submit the following items:

a. Application form (2 pages attached) and an official high school transcript.

b. Two letters of recommendation (one from school faculty/staff and one from an individual outside of school who can address student character, work ethic and service related contributions).

c. An essay typed and double-spaced with a two page limit. Topic: Future Involvement in Healthcare (include why you wish to pursue a career in the healthcare field and what area you plan to study, discuss high school leadership experience and your service to school and community).

May 31, 2017 The Sessions Law Firm Senior Scholarship This one-time scholarship award that's worth $500 is available to all full-time high school seniors in Georgia who plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college.  The minimum GPA required is 3.0
Applications accepted between September 1 and December 31 each year. Students Without Mothers Scholarship Students must be a current resident of Georgia, and a high school senior
Priority is given to students attending high school in Metro Atlanta
Must be planning to attend a two or four year institution of higher learning
The mother is not in home; either due to death, or other unfortunate circumstances
Priority is given to students whose legal guardian earns less than $50,000/year

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship

This national program awards college scholarships to high school seniors who embody the characteristics of President Ronald Reagan at school, in the community, in the workplace, and at home.  Recipients receive $10,000 renewable scholarships - up to $40,000 per student.

08/01/2017 The Law Offices of Andrew E. Goldner Scholarship $1000 scholarship open to students who have been accepted to any college in the United States.  Only online applications will be processed.
Ongoing Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation CKSF scholarship competitions consist of one or more quizzes with topics ranging from general "common knowledge" to specific academic subjects, books, websites, and even movies. Scores are based on a combination of time and accuracy. Students with the highest scores at the end of the competition win. There are no essays or long applications to complete and a single CKSF registration is good from high school all the way through college and graduate school.

06/01/17 Baseballism Scholarship In the spring of 2017, Baseballism will give two $1000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan on attending either a two or four year college after graduation.   Required essay not longer than 1,500 words explaining what you have learned from the game of baseball/softball and how it has impacted your life.  Review Baseballism’s posts on social media (facebook.com/Baseballism and @baseballism on Instagram and Twitter) and include your own baseball inspired quote or saying in your application packet.
